Managing Your Contact Information

You can update most of the contact information displayed on your website (i.e. your company name, numbers, address, etc...) via your control panel.

1. Click on the "Manage Your Contact Information" link on your Control Panel home page
2. Make any necessary changes
3. Press the "Save Changes" button when you are finished

Adding Your Photograph

1. Click on the "Manage Your Photograph" link on your Control Panel home page
2. Click the "Browse..." button
3. Find the photo you would like to use on your computer and press "open"
4. Click "Continue" when you are finished
5. A preview of your photo will appear on the following page. If you are satisfied, click on the button that says "click here to save this photo!"

The photo change will automatically be reflected on your website, although you may need to press the "refresh" button to see the change.

The Search Engine Dashboard

• check and see if your site has been indexed by the major search engines
• submit your site to the major search engines
• create and submit sitemaps to Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask.com
• read important SEO (search engine optimization) articles, such as "How Google Ranks Your Site" and "How To Improve Your Site's Search Engine Ranking"

To access the Search Engine Dashboard, click on the "Search Engine Optimization Dashboard" link on your Control Panel home page. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included within the Dashboard to help you.

Adding META Tags

META Tags are a very important part of your website because search engines use them find your web site. Click on the "Manage Your META Tags" link on your Control Panel home page to update your web site's Title, Keywords or Description. Updating Your Forwarding E-mail Address

Your web site comes with unlimited e-mail aliases. An e-mail alias is an e-mail address that forwards all email received by it to another e-mail account.

For example: If your domain name is www.homes.com, then your web site e-mail address can be anything @homes.com, where anything is the e-mail alias. You can make up any e-mail address (such as buyers@homes.com, info@homes.com, sellers@homes.com) and everything will automatically be forwarded to the e-mail address of your choice.

To change the e-mail address all of your website e-mail will get forwarded to, click on the "Change Your Forwarding E-mail Address" link on your Control Panel home page. Please allow a few days for the change to be completed.

Updating Your Control Panel Password

To keep your website secure, it is important that you change your control panel password.

1. Click on the "Change Your Control Panel Password " link on your Control Panel home page
2. Enter and verify your new password
3. Press the "Save Changes" button when you are finished to save the new password
