Managing Your Neighborhoods

Click on the “Manage Your Neighborhoods” link on your Control Panel home page (under the Neighborhood Module section) to manage your neighborhoods.

Adding a New Neighborhood

  1. Click on the “Add a New Neighborhood” link on your Control Panel home page (under the Neighborhood Module section) to add a new neighborhood to your website
  2. Fill out the form on the following page
  3. Press the "Save Changes" button when you are finished

Updating a Neighborhood

  1. Find the neighborhood you would like to update and click on the "update info" link to the right of that neighborhood
  2. Make any necessary changes by filling out the form on the following page
  3. Press the "Save Changes" button when you are finished

Updating a Neighborhood's Description

You have the option of editing a neighborhood's "Long Description" in the web page editor so you can add extra photos, images, links or just formatting in a Word-like setting. For To do this, click on the "update description" link to the right of the neighborhood. For help using the web page editor, please see the following options:

Adding Photos to a Neighborhood

  1. Find the neighborhood you would like to update and click on the "photos" link to the right of that neighborhood
  2. Each neighborhood has 20 slots to hold photos, which are displayed on the following page. If no image appears, then you have not added a photo for that slot
  3. To add or replace a photo, click the "Browse..." button
  4. Find the photo you would like to use on your computer and click "open"
  5. Click "Continue" when you are finished
  6. A preview of your photo will appear on the following page. You may also enter a caption for the photo (for your own information only - captions are not displayed on your website). If you are satisfied, click on the button that says "click here to save this photo!"

Deleting a Neighborhood

  1. Find the neighborhood you would like to delete and click on the "delete" link to the right of that neighborhood
  2. Press the "Delete Neighborhood" button to delete the neighborhood
